Works to attract investment to NSW and support innovative, sustainable and globally competitive businesses, industries and sectors. Provides business assistance and advice, strong technical knowledge and scientific capabilities. By integrating the services of the Department's partner agencies NSW Trade & Investment have a stronger capacity to support NSW industry and businesses in creating jobs and leveraging investment.

Southern Cross University
Southern Cross University is a vibrant, contemporary Australian university with beautiful campuses at the Gold Coast, Lismore, Coffs Harbour and Sydney.

Our degrees are offered across a broad range of disciplines, and are designed in consultation with industry. Many involve work placements and internships and other forms of hands-on learning to produce work-ready graduates. Research is undertaken in areas that are regionally relevant and globally significant, in disciplines as diverse as geoscience, plant genetics, cetacean research, health and wellbeing and tourism.

Tourism NSW 
Destination NSW is the lead government agency for the New South Wales (NSW) tourism and major events sectors.

Our role is to market Sydney and NSW as one of the world’s premier tourism and major events destinations; to secure major sporting and cultural events; to work in partnership with Business Events Sydney to win major international conventions and incentive travel reward programs; to develop and deliver initiatives that will drive visitor growth throughout the State; and to achieve the NSW Government’s goal of doubling expenditure within the State’s visitor economy by 2020.

Workplace Relations
The Department of Employment works to ensure that employers and employees are supported with flexible and modern workplace arrangements that benefit Australian workplaces and the economy. The department has responsibility for the national workplace relations system, promoting safety, flexibility and productivity in the workplace and maintaining clear and enforceable minimum national employment standards.

Community Builders NSW
Community building is about people from the community, government and business, taking the steps to find solutions to issues within their communities. Coming up with their own solutions to problems that affect them, adapting what has worked elsewhere and enlisting support from government or other partners, gives people a sense of achievement and empowerment. 

The site was developed in response to a desire expressed by communities across NSW to access information about what others are doing and what works to make their community safer and more inclusive, enterprising and resilient. The initiative was announced by the Premier at the Strengthening Regional Communities Forum held at Dubbo, in September 1998 and communitybuilders.nsw went live in February 1999.

National Competitive Grants Program (NCGP) - Australian Research Council (ARC)
The ARC funds research and researchers under the National Competitive Grants Program (NCGP). As part of its commitment to nurturing the creative abilities and skills of Australia's most promising researchers, the NCGP provides:

  • support for the highest-quality research leading to the discovery of new ideas and the advancement of knowledge
  • financial assistance towards facilities and equipment that researchers need to be internationally competitive
  • support for the training and skills development of the next generation of researchers
  • incentives for Australia’s most talented researchers to work in partnership with leading researchers throughout the national innovation system and internationally, and to form alliances with Australian industry.

Enterprise & Training Company Ltd (ETC)

Enterprise & Training Company Ltd (ETC) specialises in the delivery of employment, training and business services. ETC has been operating since 1989 and services suburbs and towns along the East Coast of Australia between Woollongong and the Gold Coast.

Since 1989, ETC have placed over 53,000 people into jobs, trained more than 25,000 people, and helped over 36,000 small businesses to start-up and grow.

ETC is a Job Services Australia provider, a nationally accredited Registered Training Organisation and Business Enterprise Centre.  ETC's core business falls into three main categories; ETC Employment Solutions, ETC Training Solutions and ETC Business Solutions.

Regional Development Australia (RDA), Mid North Coast
Regional Development Australia Mid North Coast (RDAMNC) is an information and advocacy organisation. Our role is to inform all levels of government, and the community as a whole, about issues that affect the ongoing development of the Mid North Coast region. We act as a link between all levels of government and our community, substantiating local priorities with research, communicating the issues clearly, and bringing key players together to leverage opportunities for positive change.

Coffs Harbour Education Campus
The Coffs Harbour Education Campus is a unique partnership between Southern Cross University, North Coast TAFE, and the NSW Department of Education and Training (Coffs Harbour Senior College).

This outstanding facility enables each of the partners to offer programs of excellence to meet the needs of students of the region and beyond, including international students. The partnership arrangement on the Campus provides opportunities for students to move easily between education levels.

Coffs Harbour Chamber of Commerce
The Coffs Harbour Chamber of Commerce is a membership based, non-for-profit organisation, which comprises businesses from many industries.

Coffs Coast Marketing
Coffs Coast Marketing (CCM) functions as a specialist business unit of Coffs Harbour City Council (CHCC). The unit is focused on effectively marketing the Coffs Coast region as a visitor destination. Accordingly, CCM strategically targets the leisure and business tourism markets (on a local, regional, state & international scale).

Coffs Coast Marketing works in partnership with (and is proudly associated with) a number of key stakeholders and industry representatives including Destination NSW, NSW Holidays, Mid North Coast NSW Regional Tourism Organisation, Tourism Coffs Coast association, Coffs Harbour Regional Airport, Coffs Harbour Sports Unit, transport operators, individual operators and various media outlets.
